About the Opportunity

As a Senior Analyst on the Revenue Recognition Team, you will be a key member of the Revenue Recognition Center of Excellence as a technical accounting analyst with respect to the company's revenue recognition policies. This position will have responsibility for performing the processes and internal controls associated with the technical and operational application of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition. This position requires a strong individual with the ability to work cross-functionally and ensure our agreements are accounted for properly in accordance with ASC 606. This role is an important forward-facing role in the organization.

Where you will make an impact Regular tasks include daily monitoring of revenue related requests/inquiries, the month-end close process and contract reviews. Works closely and helps manage customer transactions with deal desk, order management, project accounting and other stakeholders. Takes a lead role in the review of customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards (ASC 606.) Ensure compliance with internal controls and processes. Assists in quarterly reviews and annual audit procedures with the company's auditors. Perform the Company's standalone selling price ("SSP") analysis. Keep current on the latest Revenue Recognition trends and guidance. Apply consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will bring A strong understanding of ASC 606 as it applies to the software/SaaS industry. At least 2+ years of applicable experience; could be a mixture of audit and industry as well as experience with public and private companies. Understanding of US GAAP financial reporting requirements and knowledge of internal control standards. Advanced MS Office Skills - particularly Excel. Experience with Salesforce and SAP preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent comprehension and retention. Provide accurate, detailed results within established deadlines and expectations. Detail-oriented and an ability to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision. Currently offering this position as a hybrid role, being located near either the company's Reston, VA or Malvern, PA office locations.
