Position Summary:This position is responsible for the development of capital and expense projects with moderate complexity. The candidate shall seek solutions to technical problems, conduct work on assigned tasks, and exhibit a significant level of knowledge and expertise in the electrical engineering field. The candidate is also responsible for providing project deliverables and driving improvements within their field of expertise through implementation of appropriate engineering tools, technologies, and work processes, both as an individual and as part of a project team.
Responsibilities:Provide electrical engineering for capital and expense projects including scope definition, cost estimates, design, specification and ordering of equipment, documentation (drawings, equipment files, etc.), implementation, and Design and implement projects that are engineered for safety, operability, and Develop and submit capital and expense. Manage capital and expense projects to meet scope, schedule, and cost requirements per the Lead electrical reliability and plant performance improvements and support maintenance. Interact with production and maintenance personnel to solve production or design. Drive improvements in maintenance work processes, procedures, performance, and Develop Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance Plans to improve plant Provide electrical engineering technical support and troubleshooting for plant operating and maintenance Maintain expertise in assigned functional areas, for example, instrumentation, analyzers, power distribution, motors, etc.
Support development of Obsolescence and Long?Range Plans, which includes identification of equipment and development of mitigation plans (Emerson Delta V and Rockwell PLC hardware platforms, ) Assure compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS), PSM, local, state, federal, and corporate.
Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET).
PE, PMP or similar engineering/project management certification in related engineering field.
4?6 years' experience working with multi?disciplinary engineering & maintenance.
Experience with hardware/system design, including process instrumentation, control valves, motors, VFD's, pumps, and data. Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution (13.8 KV, 2400V, 480V), with a heavy industrial.
Experience with control systems (i.e. Emerson Delta V, Rockwell Automation Control Logix platforms, ).
Experience working with vendors, engineers, production personnel and maintenance.
Project management, design and specifications to support procurement and construction activities for Strong communication, business, technical, planning and people.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards (i.e. IEEE, ISA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment (motors, VFD's, circuit breakers, PLC's, ).
Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
Education Requirements:BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET).
Pay Range:USD $55.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
