JOB FUNCTION

Employee will be responsible for packaging all signage and components manufactured by Blair using, but not limited to, cardboard boxing and wood frame crating. Best possible packaging to ensure no damage during shipping.

BASIC SKILLS - essential for all positions within the manufacturing group.
  • Accessing and reading the print
  • Understanding and packaging to the print
  • Accurate use of a tape measure or other measuring devices
  • Daily use of manufacturing software for clocking production hours, referring to production scheduler, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing environment - appropriate safety equipment and precautions required such as hard hats, eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, etc.
  • Lifting product up to 50 pounds
  • Fast-paced work as needed
  • Tobacco-free facility
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Observe all safety rules and policies at all times with materials and tools
  • Receive and follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors
  • Maintain quality standards as well as time standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including ensuring that bulk materials are appropriately stocked at all times
  • Notify Supervisor of any discrepancies on Bills of Material, Bills of Operation, Prints, and Products
  • Scheduled overtime as production requires
