Surgical Physician Assistant Opening in New YorkLocation: Geneva, New YorkRochester 45mPosition Overview:Seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join the Surgical teamFull-time, employed positionComfortable serving as First Assist in the ORSupports pre- and post-operative care in the clinic settingRole Responsibilities:Work closely with the Chief of Surgery, Vascular Surgeons, and Oncology SurgeonsAct as First Assist in the operating roomPerform pre-operative evaluationsConduct post-operative follow-up visitsAssist with inpatient rounding as neededCoordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of careQualifications:Current New York State Physician Assistant licenseNational certification (NCCPA)Valid DEA licenseBLS and ACLS certificationStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsCompensation and Benefits:Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000Competitive base salary with incentivesStudent loan repaymentSign-on bonusOn-site childcareComprehensive benefits package Estimated pay range/amount is $108k to 175k.
