Maintenance Mechanic (FDIC) EMCOR Government Services offers an experienced single-source solution for meeting the routine and mission-critical needs of federal, state, local and other government organizations. EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for Maintenance Mechanic in Arlington VA. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery. Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building. Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems. Perform snow removal. Trains Maintenance Helpers to increase their skills. Assist Engineers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3 6 years' experience in a commercial environment. Current CFC Universal License 2 years EMS experience Must be able to work any shift assigned Must be able to work weekends. Must be able to work overtime. Must be able to work safely. Must be a self-starter. Must be willing to adhere to company policies. Physical Demands: Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
