Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer IBM z/OS systems on a daily basis. Proficient in the use of SMP/E to install and maintain mainframe system software productsHands-on use of the Hardware Management Console to define and modify mainframe partitionsMonitor system metrics to recommend performance and tuning improvementsProvide expert technical guidance and support to the project team.Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to IBM z/OS systems and sub-systemsEnsure the security and integrity of the infrastructure at all times.Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an IBM z/OS Administrator or in a similar role, working with IBM z/OS operating system architecture, administration, and performance tuningMinimum of 3 years of SMP/E experience including installing and maintaining mainframe system software products.High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
