Location: This position is responsible for Clatsop and part of Tillamook County

Job Description:

The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program, Or
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or equivalent education/ experience.
  • Coursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need.
  • Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular department need.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
