Diaphragm Press Operator

SUMMARY: The Diaphragm Press Operator will set up and run the Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Press machines, accurately and in a timely manner, to produce excellent quality molds and/or parts in accordance with specifications, planned processes, times, and quality, and ensure the assigned equipment is maintained as needed.JOB DUTIES: Sets-up all Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Presses accurately and in a timely manner.Accurately weighs all resin containers prior to use and after use, records information on Inventory Log Sheets, and accurately reports amount used for Work Orders.Accurately records number of blanks taken on appropriate Inventory Log.Molds parts accurately (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.Properly die cuts parts (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.Properly and accurately clocks in and out of work and jobs.Properly and accurately records completed diaphragms and / or molds.Properly and accurately records scrap / waste.Maintains work area neat and clean.Follows all safety rules and regulations.Attains goal for Machine Hours versus Payroll Hours.Attains goal for Actual Hours versus Planned Hours on Work Orders.Attains goal for scrap and waste.Loads ovens as needed.Properly handles, uses, operates, and relocates / stores all tooling and dies used.Follows all Company policies and procedures in department. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, a maintain accurate records and job historyQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:Accredited High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
