Process Engineer

Process Engineer Summary:
We are looking to add a Process Engineer who will be responsible for the setup, and operation of optical machinery in an active, hands-on production type position. While providing the best processes to meet quality standards our customers mandate.
Job Responsibilities:

Create and maintain process work instructions and standard operating procedures

Create documentation and traceability in compliance with AS9100 standards

Review work orders, blueprints, specifications, or job samples to determine components, settings, and adjustments for cutting and slicing machines

Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, or scales

Adjust machine controls to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure

Maintain production records, such as quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced

Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment

Support failure investigations to determine root cause and implement corrective actions

Process Engineer Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of dimensioning and tolerance analysis

Detail oriented with an analytical and structured approach to problem solving

Experienced and knowledgeable with ISO 9001:2015

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated with strong desire for process improvement

Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS

Experience with ERP software, industrial control software, as well as inventory management software

Authorized to work in the United States

Process Engineer Preferences:

Experience with multi wire saw systems and/or precision wafer dicing operations

Experience with profilometry

Experience with planetary polishing equipment

Experience with interferometry

Experience with implementation of SPC software and CMM import tool
