**The Gig...**

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will work in the plant and shipping area and will be responsible for order fulfillment and shipping of product. You will also be the backup to the Shipping/Receiving Lead when needed.

**What You'll Do...**

* Prepare orders for domestic or international shipment including certifying accuracy of paperwork, packaging, banding, and crating product.

* Safely operate forklift to load and/or unload product from storage area and delivery vehicles.

* Stage pallets and/or load product into transportation vehicles.

* Communicate information regarding shortages or backorders to applicable departments.

* Process and load LTL (less than truck load) freight.

* Be the backup for the Shipping/Receiving lead when needed.

* Complete forklift inspections to monitor the maintenance needs; communicate issues in a timely manner.

* Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.

**Physical Requirements**

* Ability to lift to medium weight up to 50lbs.

* May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations.

* May sit for prolonged periods of time operating a forklift.

**What You Need...**

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Forklift experience.

* Ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

* MRP Systems and scanner experience preferred.

* Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
