THE BASICS

Pay: Depending on your sales commission, you can earn up to $80,000/year.

Schedule: You generally work 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday, but weekend availability would be preferred.

YOUR DAYS

Our Service Writer is responsible for communicating with customers about their automotive troubles and then translating that information into easy-to-understand repair orders. You document customer concerns and inspect vehicles yourself, recording your observations. Attentive to detail, you create repair orders and generate cost estimates for parts and labor. If a customer is unsure about certain services, you explain the importance of the job and encourage them to approve the work. You maintain accurate records, organize schedules, and inform customers about their vehicle's progress.

REQUIREMENTS

A high school degree or equivalent would be preferred but isn't needed. Here are the minimum criteria:

  • 1+ years of service writing experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Valid driver's license
