WMS Consultant

Role: WMS Consultant Onsite Location: Charlotte, NC Mode of hire: Fulltime with Aspire Systems Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a techno-functional consultant, preferably in the retail industry. Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, POS). Proficiency in Oracle Forms and PL/SQL for customizations and reporting. Knowledge of industry-standard WMS modules (e.g., inventory management, order fulfillment, pick-pack-ship processes). Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements. Experience with system configuration, data migration, and user training. Certifications related to WMS (e.g., Manhattan WMOS, Oracle WMS Cloud, Blue Yonder WMS) are a plus. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements related to warehouse operations. Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Design and develop WMS solutions based on industry best practices and client-specific needs. Develop functional specifications, including process flows, data mappings, and system requirements. Collaborate with developers to implement customizations and enhancements within the WMS system. Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Provide end-user training and support during system rollouts. Troubleshoot issues related to WMS functionality, data integrity, and performance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in WMS technology.
