Description Specialization: Emergency Medicine Job Summary: Lees Summit Medical Center is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join our team in Lees Summit, Missouri. Qualified Candidates: Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider FP/IM board-certified physicians with two (2) years of emergency medicine experience. 27-hour emergency medicine physician coverage Monday Wednesday within the emergency department. 24 hours of emergency medicine physician coverage Thursday Sundays 24 hours of APP coverage 7 days per week ABPS Physicians welcome to apply for consideration. The emergency room is a Level II STEMI (heart attack) Center and a Level II Stroke Center (Primary Stroke Center), equipped for rapid and advanced treatment of these critical conditions. It is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center. Advanced and Patient-Focused: Staffed by experienced professionals and utilizing advanced technology, the emergency room focuses on optimal patient outcomes, including a "Care Connect" program for follow-up after an ER visit. Services include but are not limited to cancer care, cardiovascular services, endoscopy, emergency services, neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, palliative care, pulmonology, outpatient therapy, sports medicine, respiratory care, outpatient and inpatient surgical specialty care, and womens services.
