Position - Plant Supply Clerk

Position reports to the Plant Finance Leader. Below are the job requirements. Candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Description:

The Senior Supply Clerk position is a first shift position at the Pendleton Plant in Pendleton, SC. This job is responsible for ensuring all parts and supplies are readily available for plant operations and that proper controls are in place to financially account for all purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with purchase of parts and supplies to operate the plant
  • Prepare requisitions and place orders with vendors
  • Research and reconcile purchase order receipts with vendor invoices
  • Work with suppliers / vendors to resolve issues
  • Work with corporate accounting to address any opportunities with Invoices, POs etc.
  • Research supply availability, pricing, and lead times
  • Maintain and load supplies for both indirect and direct materials
  • Monitor supply usage
  • Conduct cycle counts and variance analysis
  • Prepare weekly analysis and adhoc reports
  • Code and submit freight invoices
  • Physical inventory counts in "non-climate" controlled environment
  • Daily walk of floor to review inventory and pick up paperwork
  • Identify ways to improve procedures and processes
  • Promote Good Housekeeping
  • Receive in and stock supply room - will require lifting boxes
  • Participate in Safety Process
  • Attend meetings / training at corporate when required

Qualifications - Required:

  • Minimum 5-year work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
