Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team.

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

Controls Engineer Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in developing PLC programs
Assist in developing HMI programs
Onsite service, commissioning, and training for the systems installed by MFS
Provide remote and over the phone support for past and future systems installed by MFS
Travelling to job sites

Controls Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:
Allen Bradley PLC Programming experience
HMI developing skills (FactoryTalk View)
Experience with motor controls (Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starts)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of system electrical prints
Able to troubleshoot equipment
Microsoft Office skills
Ethernet IP experience
