As the Lab Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product development process, overseeing our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and directly impacting the quality and efficacy of our nutraceutical products.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall laboratory strategy aligned with their mission and vision.
Laboratory Operations: Oversee all analytical duties and administrative responsibilities, including hiring, lab layout, equipment purchasing, and more.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and enhance formulations.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant guidelines.
Testing Protocols: Oversee testing protocols, including raw materials, in-process, and finished product testing.
Scientific Exploration: Work closely with our scientific team to explore novel approaches to health and wellness.
Team Management: Oversee a team of lab technicians, chemists, and microbiologists, providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
Cultural Development: Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages scientific curiosity and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Education:
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lab environment in a leadership role, preferably within the nutraceutical industry.
Analytical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC-MS, and spectroscopy.
Leadership Skills:
Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
