**JOB SUMMARY**:The Supervising Nurse / Branch Managers primary functions day-to-day direction of branch operations to ensure quality and efficient operations coordinates with the parent office, interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency. Oversees QA issues at the branch level and direct staff with regard to agency policies and procedures. Maximizes human, financial and equipment resources.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

1. Registered Nurse with a current Texas license.

2. Must have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse within the last thirty-six (36) months.

3. Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred, with experience/education in the healthcare field.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1. Directs and coordinates branch and assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered. Identifies problem area to Executive Director.

2. Promotes the philosophy and administrative policies of the agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient care.

3. Supervises and provides direction to subordinates in an effort to ensure quality and continuity of services.

4. Employs, recruits, manages and direct qualified personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the agency. Ensure staff education and evaluations.

5. Promotes and monitors compliance with fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payors, federal and state regulations, through education coaching QI program and other assistance as necessary.

6. Monitors operational systems for efficiency and compliance with regulations and identifies problem area to Executive Director.

7. Provides communication to parent regarding needs of the branch to include personnel needs, financial needs, professional practices, quality issues and planning.

8. Assures documentation of services provided is accurate and timely.

9. Uses effectiveness interpersonal relations and communications skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
