Job DescriptionJob Description

Ideate Design-Build is based in Vista, North County San Diego with architectural and construction projects in San Diego, Orange County and Riverside County. We hold licenses in both architecture and construction primarily providing construction defect services, balcony inspections and reports, property assessment and scope definitions, reconstruction, renovations, tenant improvements and other technical consulting services.

We are currently looking to grow our team and fill an open position for a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, you will assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the contracted and active construction activities.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of experience in construction industry project management.

High school or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred.

Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft suites.

Valid Drivers license with a good driving record.

Take responsibility for the outcome of your assignments

Team player who can also work independently

Able to commute to job sites or office daily

Tasks:

Work together with the project team to create a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirements of the job

Construction planning (cost, communication, schedule, safety, quality, estimating, contracts)

Developing, communicating, and scheduling with clients, employees, subcontractors, design professionals, vendors, etc. to ensure a timely and economical plan of action

Confirm that all timecards are approved

Carry out daily/weekly checks on the projects to ensure they are running smoothly and meeting the specific goals as well as ensuring quality workmanship

Reduce and track open/closed issues to completion

Responsible for supporting, promoting, and enforcing all field training programs

Other duties as assigned
