Video Intern

Classification: Intern, Part-Time, 20 hrs/wk, Non-Exempt, 1-year commitment

Intentionally invest in gaining experience and knowledge for professional, personal, and spiritual development.

Responsibilities:

•Work alongside the Creative Arts team to learn and help with all phases of video creation from collaborative ideation, storyboarding and filming through post-production and effectiveness debrief

•Asset gathering (photo, video, or other) and ideation for film and other media purposes

•Be a contributing member of the Film Content team by helping in any and/or all aspects of the production process

•Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

•Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus

•1-2 years education and/or experience in professional video production

•Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, both Mac and PC operating systems, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite

•Familiarity with professional video cameras and other related gear, and professional video editing software

•Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

•Creative capacity & flexibility

•A posture of teachability and adaptability

•Ability to meet deadlines and work with a team

•High attention to detail

•Endorse and support Westwood's Statement of Faith

•Agreement with Westwood's vision, values, and beliefs
