AE Works is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Individuals who are qualified for this position: shall possess the ability to work directly with clients and lead the discussion during presentations, project meetings; shall have excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical/problem skills; and be capable of leading and working within a multi-discipline team setting.

Role and Responsibilities for Position:

  • Lead the design and construction administration of HVAC systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation, within various market segments
  • Lead clients and internal design team, including architects and engineers, through the planning and design for the mechanical systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation
  • Produce high quality deliverables for Clients at all stages of design
  • Serve as a primary contact with client and consultants for mechanical engineering design on projects
  • Travel with team members for onsite collaboration, investigations, and project presentations
Technical Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience in design of healthcare, data center, senior care, higher education, commercial, central plants (including steam and chilled water systems) and/or government projects
  • PE registration
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with Revit and Bluebeam
