Job Description

The Full-Time Environmental Services Aide III is responsible for cleaning and servicing the building areas according to the established procedures. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the Wyndemere campus. The EVS Aide III performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors: carpets, tile and concrete flooring.
  • Participates in heavy cleaning of kitchen area.
  • Moves furniture in Wyndemere common areas and resident furniture as directed.
  • Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacture's recommendations.
  • Completes work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reports all safety hazards to the EVS Manager or Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Operates power washer and cleans hard surfaces as assigned including siding, decking and garage floors
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
  • Minimum 6 months experience as an Environmental Services Aide or equivalent; experience in a health care environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform advanced housekeeping duties.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment: buff and wax equipment, vacuum, water extractor, power wash equipment, dry clean carpet equipment, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the English Language; must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Pay range: $18.00-$20.90
