We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Heavy Civil/Concrete Superintendent for our client based in Missouri. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing construction projects, specifically concrete paving, bridge work along with road/highway projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of heavy civil/concrete/highway construction sites
- Ensure that all project timelines and budgets are met or exceeded
- Manage on-site personnel to ensure efficient use of resources
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the duration of each phase of the project
Qualifications & Skills Required:
To be considered for this position you must possess:
Experience - A minimum 5 years' progressive superintendent-level experience within heavy highway, bridge, concrete, utilities, earthwork, etc.
Education - Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory if there is enough relevant job site fieldwork knowledge acquired through hands-on training over time spent working as Project Manager/Superintendent roles.
Skills - Excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; strong analytical problem-solving abilities;
Certification/License required- OSHA Certification
Location & Travel Requirements: This role requires some travel around MO region where most company-owned jobsites exist.
Salary Range: Our client offers a competitive salary range between $90K-$150K annually depending upon your qualifications and level expertise.
