Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced consultant to lead the migration of FR Y-14Q functions from Shadow IT systems to our centralized CIO IT infrastructure. This critical project requires expertise in data migration, financial regulations, and IT security to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Shadow IT systems supporting FR Y-14Q reporting, identifying data flows, security controls, and system dependencies.

Develop a detailed migration plan outlining the scope, timeline, approach (phased, big bang, etc.), and target systems within CIO IT.

Design data mapping and transformation plans to ensure accurate transfer of data to the new system.

Collaborate with stakeholders across Shadow IT, business units, and IT teams to communicate the migration plan, gather feedback, and address concerns.

Lead the migration process, ensuring data security and integrity throughout all stages.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated functions to confirm accuracy and functionality.

Develop and deliver training programs for users on new processes, systems, and security protocols.

Monitor system performance and data quality post-migration, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues.

Document the migration process, lessons learned, and best practices for future reference.

Stay current with evolving financial regulations and reporting requirements related to FR Y-14Q.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in data migration projects, preferably within the financial services industry.

Proven experience working with sensitive financial data and adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of FR Y-14Q reporting and its associated data elements.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data cleansing and transformation tools.

Knowledge of IT security best practices and risk management frameworks.

Experience working with Shadow IT environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
