•Facilitate the Response to Intervention (RtI) Process
•Create and support the classroom implementation of Classroom Accommodation and Modification Plans (CAMPs) for students
•Provide instruction and academic support for identified students
•Shared responsibility for facilitating Homework Club after school
•Co-lead August Transition Meetings for identified students
•Push-in to classrooms to support students
•Utilize valid teaching techniques to promote student growth within the framework of the school's Mission
•Employ a variety of instructional aids, methods and materials that will reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional
•Keep proper discipline to maintain a good learning environment
•Maintain regular and accurate attendance and records to meet the demands for a comprehensive knowledge of students' progress
•Understand and implement all building emergency procedures
Cultivate Positive Relationships with Children and Families
•Develop and maintain rapport with students and parents
•Represent Cherry Hills Christian in a favorable and professional manner
•Assess the learning of students periodically and provide progress reports as needed
•Keep students, parents and the Director of Academic Services adequately informed of progress or deficiencies and give sufficient notices of failure
•Ensure accurate and timely response to communication requests
•Respect professional ethics that require confidentiality concerning the sharing of information about children, parents, or staff
•Pray for the children and families you serve

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
•Must have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and it should be evident in both the personal and professional life

•Holds a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education related field
•Advanced degree preferred

Salary Description
$24.50 - $28.00 per hour
