Exciting Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist at Straka Pediatric Therapies

About Us:

At Straka Pediatric Therapies, we're more than just a clinic-we're a vibrant community committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and their families. Offering individual and group therapy in Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapy, and Mental Health Services, our team of experienced and certified professionals is dedicated to providing exceptional care. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.

Pay & Benefits:

At Straka, we believe in rewarding our team for their hard work and dedication, which is why we offer competitive salaries rather than a per-visit or point model. Unlike other models that may require working excessive hours to earn a substantial income, our approach ensures that your compensation is stable and predictable while factoring in any cancellations or sick days that may unexpectedly pop up. This reflects our dedication to quality care and provides our clinicians with the security and peace of mind needed to focus on the well-being of our clients. Our salary structure is designed to prioritize job satisfaction and a healthy work-life balance. We believe that the best care comes from clinicians who are well-supported, not overworked. By structuring our compensation this way, we empower you to thrive both professionally and personally, ensuring that your career at Straka is both fulfilling and sustainable.

  • Loyalty Rewards: Your dedication matters to us. That's why we offer a generous loyalty bonus to reward your commitment to our team.
  • Diverse Caseload: Opportunity to work with a wider range of pediatric conditions and developmental needs, offering more variety and a chance to work within your specialty.

  • Professional Growth: More opportunities for specialized training, continuing education, and certification in specific pediatric therapy areas (e.g., feeding therapy, sensory integration).
  • Ability to Work Closely with Parents: Outpatient settings allow therapists to work directly with parents, involving them and other family members in the treatment plan and helping them understand how to support their child's progress at home fostering better long-term outcomes.
  • Access to More Resources: Clinics often provide access to more advanced therapeutic equipment and resources tailored for pediatric care.
  • Less Paperwork: While both settings involve documentation, clinics often have streamlined systems with less bureaucracy than school districts, allowing therapists to focus more on direct patient care.
  • Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Clinics often promote a collaborative environment and opportunity for co-treat with various specialists (e.g., PT, OT) working together, enhancing overall patient care and professional development.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Opportunity to work weekends for those who need to be home more during the week.
