About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and qualified Director of Logistics to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all Logistical management duties including researching shipping methods, assessing budgets, analyzing freight data, along with managing a sizeable team. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge of logistics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-               Oversee and manage transportation/logistics duties assigned by brand.

-               Oversee and direct logistics managers/supervisors who manage the day-to-day operations teams.

-               Oversee and manage transportation vendors and contracts.

-               Responsible for managing KPIs and directing initiatives from KPIs.

-               Liaison between logistics and operations to ensure all needs are met for the manufacturing facilities.

-               Direct oversight of Freight Claims and Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) processes.

-               Aid in management of Transportation Management System (TMS) functions and maintenance.

-               Ensure all Logistics personnel are educated regarding DOT laws & regulations.

-               Leadership responsibilities to recognize and coach the next group of leaders.

Qualifications:

•              Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.

•              Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

•              In-depth knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry.

•              General understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

•              Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

•              Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

•              Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

•              Exceptional teamwork skills to work across multiple departments for a common goal.

•              Exceptional leadership abilities/attributes.

•              Act with integrity and honesty, avoiding actual or apparent conflicts of interest in personal and professional relationships.

•              Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
