The System Analyst's role is to assist with core banking application monitoring, review, and maintenance. This includes troubleshooting applications, assisting with incident and problem management to prevent recurrence. The System Analyst is responsible for analyzing programs in support of upgrades, releases, and system requirements. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and assess existing software and procedures
Identify and learn software applications used and supported by the organization
Recommend, schedule, and preform software improvements and upgrades
Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required
Liaise with network administrations, software administrators, and vendors to assist in resolving problems with problem or incident management.
Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors, post testing upgrades, general debugging, and isolating areas for improvement
Develop documentation and resources for service improvement plans and business continuity
Proactively monitor and manage core banking services to eliminate any downtime
Assist with planning and implementation of new software
Participate and orchestrate monthly disaster recovery exercises as well as any roundtable discussions
Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, and comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction
Ability to be on-call, work after hours, holidays and/or weekends as needed to help with incident management, upgrades, vacations, illnesses, or support banks after system upgrades
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute multiple tasks
Highly organized and willing to adapt to changing needs; flexible
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and resolution techniques
Ability to think critically to define problems and develop effective solutions
To travel for educational opportunities
Minimum 2 years' experience with software troubleshooting
Understanding of Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Dexterity of hands and finger to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components
Sitting for extended periods of time

Hours:

8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Must be flexible for training or covering for vacations when evening operator is unavailable from 10pm to 2am

Must also be flexible to support Banks on weekends for after hour support or software upgrades
