Rme - Maintenance Technician Ii As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Responsibilities: Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets. Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Possess basic electrical knowledge of components. Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment. Track and store the departments inventory, including spare parts. Essential Skills: 2+ years Industrial maintenance and equipment maintenance experience. Experience as a technician with conveyor maintenance and material handling. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with automated robotics conveyor systems. Capability to complete preventative maintenance on conveyers, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and motors. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations. Experience with a CMMS. Continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to learn and grow. Familiarity with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards. Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field. 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field. 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
