Join our team and see the opportunities are real, and the sky is the limit; this isn't just a job, it's a seat at the tableWe are hiring a 3rd shift Production Supervisor for our frozen pizza facility in Florence, KYIn this role, you will manage a team to help deliver production goals specific to Freschetta and other private label pizzas. Typical hours are 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., 5 days per week (with an occasional Saturday based on Supervisor rotation and need). Responsibilities:Directs production, packaging, and bakery on production lines to ensure company and USDA requirements are metBeing responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified employees, following EEO and Affirmative Action guidelinesManages employee performance and skills development conducts performance appraisals and administers disciplinary action, including employment terminations when necessaryResponsible for safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem-solvingAdjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.Works closely with USDA representative on site to ensure all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are metReviews and signs off on all Quality Assurance and HACCP documentationChecks product quality, usage, waste, product counts, and weights to assure performance and attainmentQualifications:HS Diploma; 2-year or 4-year degree preferred. 4+ years of related work experience, preferably in food manufacturing or another CPG, with 2 years in a leadership (i.e. Team/Line Lead or higher) capacity.SAP experience beneficialIntermediate knowledge of robotics used in productionAbility to effectively supervise line employeesStrong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsKnowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferredAdvanced knowledge of bakery/dough processes preferredCompensation and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $58,500 to $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.Beyond base salary, we offer a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being. Bachelor's degree preferred.Years of Related Experience: 4 to 5 years related work experience preferably in food industry manufacturing orequivalent combination of education and experience, with minimum of 2 years in supervision.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate personal computer skills including MicroSoft Office. SAP experiencebeneficial. Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production. Ability to effectively supervise line employees.Strong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment. Ability to read and interpretdocuments such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to writeroutine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpretbar graphs. Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferred. Advanced knowledge of Bakery/dough processespreferred.
