The Senior Electrical Engineer is considered an expert in the design, development and commercialization of electronics across multiple industries and responsible for the development of electronic hardware designs using ECAD tool for the development of schematics, PCBA documentation supporting products development.This individual is also responsible for architecture, design, analysis, prototype debug, test planning, testing and quality assurance.The person provides technical leadership to the department and often is called upon to resolve complex design and system issues.BGM is a part of Exponential Technology Group (XTG).XTG is part of the TTI Family of Companies and is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries.This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering.This position will be onsite in Auburn Hills, MI. ACCOUNTABILITIESFormulate and define system scope and objectives to develop software, electronics hardware and firmware for complex systems.Analyze circuit performance, circuit simulation expertise, Worst Case Circuit analysis expertise and put into practice.Utilize schematic capture tools and computer simulation to create designs for complex systems.Use electronic test equipment such as emulators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.Prepare feasibility analysis, cost estimates and detailed specifications from which electronic and software designs may be executed.Utilize vendor resources to incorporate the latest technology in new designs.Responsible for adhering to and augmenting when appropriate company development and quality standards.Code, test, debug and maintain embedded software and embedded support software.Analyze, test, debug and maintain electronics hardware.Work at the highest technical level on complex applications.May lead small teams in the execution of design activities.
