ACT Engineers is a leading Engineering firm that specializes in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the coastal environment. We are looking for a Director, Coastal Engineering to join our team and lead the design and construction of coastal projects that address the impacts of coastal hazards and climate change.

We are looking for a licensed professional engineer with experience managing the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction supervision. You will apply your expertise in wave dynamics, sediment transport, and shoreline stabilization to design and implement coastal infrastructure projects that enhance the resilience and sustainability of coastal communities. You will also coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulators, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule.

The Ideal Candidate: Has a degree in related field Has obtained a Professional Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired) Is experienced with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications. Is experience in coastal engineering, including experience with designing and building coastal structures and erosion control measures Has organizational skills, is motivated, and dependable
