A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in our ED:

As an ED nurse, you will have one to two patients assigned to you depending on the acuity of the patients. You will be responsible for executing the orders for the day & taking care of the patient. Ultimately, you are responsible for that patient, making sure protocols are followed, medications are given on time, procedures are done appropriately, etc. The care is a collaborative approach we take to care for the patients.

Requirements

  • Current Kansas State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • Previous ICU experience preferred
