Job Description

The Specimen Processor will be responsible for the following;
  • Receiving samples, opening boxes, and organizing the workspace.
  • Entering all patient demographic and testing information into the LIS system, labeling samples for testing, and operating automated aliquoting equipment.
  • Check samples and requisition forms for adequacy, flag any discrepancies or issues, handle problem resolution in coordination with the Customer Care team, and organize and restock lab supplies.
  • Other essential tasks may be assigned as needed.
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Work Environment

All laboratory tests are performed in our CAP-accredited, CLIA-certified clinical laboratory located in Framingham, Massachusetts. The dress code is business casual, and the work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
