Demonstrated experience as an accountant or consultant responsible for developing, performing and providing technical advice related to financial reporting and auditing in accordance with GAAP and GAAS, Office of Management & Budget (OMB) guidance, the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) and USSGL, Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) standards, and Government Accountability Office (GAO) Yellow Book. Experience in performing period-end (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) statement analysis. Experience with corrective action plans (CAPs) documentation and resolution. Experience in providing technical advice and recommendations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications 4 year degree in Accounting, finance or related field. Operational accountant with working knowledge of the USSGL; Experience in Federal financial reporting requirements. Experience contributing/producing Annual Financial Reports (AFR). Intimate knowledge of FASAB.
