Do you have experience in a fast-paced medical office? The Reserves Network is partnered with a Decatur, IL hospital facility that is looking to add a patient registration specialist to their busy team. This position will be working with patients to get them registered prior to visits to the emergency department and educating patients on patient rights and procedures.What matters most as the patient registration specialist:2:30pm-11pm with alternating weekendsPay starting at $21/ hourBenefits in a Card: 3 medical plans, dental and visionaAdditional benefits such as: group accident, critical illness w/ cancer benefits, short-term disability, behavioral health, term life, and identity theftWeekly pay via direct deposit or pay card.Your new role as the patient registration specialist:C omplete all steps of patient pre-registration and registration for the emergency department.Identify and document health insurance eligibility.Coordinate billing of claims and hospital reimbursementObtain all documentation for patient consent for treatment.Educate patients on payment and billing options.Your experience as the patient registration specialist:One year of experience in a medical administrative roleYour Career Partner:Veteran-founded and family-owned, The Reserves Network specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
