Position Overview: As a Procurement Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain operations, with a focus on procurement activities. You will be responsible for data entry, basic procurement tasks, and assisting with various standard purchasing activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the fastener distribution industry. Responsibilities: + Review data and create accurate purchase orders in a timely manner. + Follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery. + Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to maintain proper stocking levels. + Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners. + Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, and lead times in system. + Contribute and support the development and implementation of procurement strategies. Qualifications: + Excellent data entry skills. + Self-starter with an outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail. + Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. + Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs. + Office/procurement experience a plus.
