Job scope

FLSmidth is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team. The Developer will have responsibility for a platform for advanced sensors in the mining industry, including computer vision with deep learning, and digital signal processing on accelerometer and vibration sensors. Full stack includes React + Typescript front end, Scala + OpenCV backend, and MongoDB as storage.

Responsibilities

Interaction with internal stakeholders Plan and execute new applications added to platform Documentation Writing Code Working with other internal developers Debugging Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps Design, build and unit test highly scalable applications Identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities What you bring:

We realize that it is unlikely that a candidate has experience with all the technologies used in this role. A successful candidate will have a subset of them, with a desire to work using them, and experience that would support fast adoption.

8+ years of experience with React + Typescript, Scala + OpenCV, and MongoDB. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a growth-mindset and highly collaborative team environment. Good communication in this role is essential, as is a mindset of teamwork. What we offer
