The Performance Cable Systems and Materials Division has been a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality copper and fiber optic communication cables for over 35 years. Our state-of-the-art facility specializes in the design and construction of advanced communication cables. The PCA Category 5e, 6, 6A, and fiber optic cables are engineered to surpass applicable standards and outperform required specifications for applications such as gigabit Ethernet, 10-gigabit Ethernet, VOIP, and POE+.

Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the company's information systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with IT teams, management, and external partners to protect the companys digital assets.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or breaches.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and manage security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks, systems, and applications.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities and work with IT teams to remediate them.
  • Keep up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Configure and manage endpoint protection solutions, including antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.

Travel

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Cybersecurity role.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, EDR).
