Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading healthcare delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.What You Can Expect:Utilize proficiency in ERCP, EUS, enteral stenting, and EMR. Additional therapeutic endoscopy skills are welcome.Provide care outpatient consultative & endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work-life balanceConduct routine endoscopy & colonoscopy, and participate in Gastroenterology hospital callProvide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visitsAccess to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipmentSupport a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providersProvide inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitalsWork with an experienced support staffOpportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desiredA physician-friendly EMR (electronic medical record) systemMinimum Requirements:MD or DOBoard Certified or Eligible in GastroenterologyAdvanced Endoscopy Fellowship trainingCurrently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and VirginiaWork visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicantsMAPMG Physicians:Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical careCommunicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)Lead with integrityValue teamworkAre transparent and honestGo "above and beyond" for their patientsWe Provide You:Competitive compensationPathway for physicians to become shareholders of MAPMGComprehensive benefits including 100% employer-funded medical and dental insurance premiums, a pension plan and 401(k), life insurance, and paid leaveComplete professional liability coverage provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunitiesA concierge service that works directly with you to apply for all required state, CDS, and DEA licensesThe starting annual salary for this position is $525,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
