Seeking an HR Generalist
- Hour: M-F 8 am-5 pm
- Indio, Ca
- Pay: $24.00 -$27.00 per hour
- Prepare paperwork and schedules to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Coordinate with different departments to provide an outstanding first-day experience.
- Manage all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews.
- Data entry into human resources information systems (HRIS) and conducting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Offer a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees. This service covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
- Be the primary backup for payroll processing, which includes updating employee files, processing bonus/incentive pay, managing vacation/sick pay and expense reimbursements, validating hourly employee records, and processing benefits changes.
- Assist in communicating, interpreting, and maintaining the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart. Also, contribute to policy development.
- Assist with employee relations, benefits, onboarding/off-boarding, heavy recruitment, and scheduling
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven success in working in an HR department.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft software.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
