We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Cost Accountant to join our Chickasha, OK team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our plant operations, including inventory management, and job costing in a multi entity environment. Standard Costs: Establish and maintain standard costs for materials, labor and overhead, regularly updating based on operational and financial changes. Create detailed costs report, variance analysis, and product profitability. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, support physical inventory counts, and reconcile any discrepancies. Collaboration: Work closely with the plant management team, production staff, and corporate finance to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Work Experience The preferred candidate might: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, especially related to job costing, inventory management, AP/AR processes.
