Apply today, we'd love to meet you Senior Quality Engineer Seeking a Senior level Quality Assurance Engineer to work at our busy production facility in Franklin, MA. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: Quality Assurance position working in an AS9100 environment Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electromechanical hardware, textiles, and composites Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests Chair Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, perform root cause analysis and facilitate corrective action process Coordinate problem resolution with the engineering, manufacturing and program teams Capture and combine inspection data and supplier data packages for maintenance and distribution to customer per requirements Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102 Work with Suppliers to resolve non-conformances and corrective actions Interface with Customer QA representatives Support Quality Management System (QMS), AS9100 and CMMI processes and perform audits Assist with development and review of procedures & work instructions Develop detailed Quality Plans for programs Assist with management of calibrated equipment program Interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management Support source inspection at supplier facility (less than 10% travel) Review and approve Engineering Changes per assigned programs Perform all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications BS degree with 5+ years of experience, BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field preferred Must be proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Possess outstanding technical communications and team building skills Ability to problem solve and critically think Self-starter able to prioritize tasks and work independently Excellent communications skills Preferred Qualifications ASQ Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer Certified IPC-A-610/620 Inspector Recent experience working in an ISO9000 or AS9100 environment Experience working on DOD electromechanical products Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 Experience with DOD customers or Government Representative Advantage Technical is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
