YOUR IMPACT

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Prepare standard and specialized financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) according to generally accepted accounting procedures
  • Record income and associated expenses
  • Perform complex financial analyses to summarize current and projected company financial position
  • Recommend methods and procedures to improve accounting processes. Operates under minimal supervision
  • May provide work direction or technical assistance to less experienced accounting staff
  • 40% Prepare various financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, etc.
  • 20% Perform financial analyses and makes recommendations for the management of financial resources
  • 20% Check journal vouchers and financial reports for accuracy
  • 10% Recommend methods and procedures to improve the functioning of the accounting area
  • 10% Work closely with personnel in other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or business (with an accounting emphasis) or equivalent experience
  • Requires a minimum of three years of experience with no less then 1 year working with services revenues
  • Written communication skills essential
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Skilled in math application
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Specialized in service revenue accounting

POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $50,000 and $75,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
