JOB SUMMARY:

Manages quality control functions of the loan department and all personnel associated with that department. Ensures loan files are maintained on an ongoing basis. Reports loan documentation exceptions to bank management. Ensures loan documentation process is efficient and accurate. Performs any other lending-related projects as assigned.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.
  2. Builds collateral files on all new loans through Integra and maintains existing collateral files according to established procedures.
  3. Monitors loan documentation exceptions and reports to supervisor.
  4. Works with supervisor to establish most efficient procedures necessary for ensuring excellent documentation and imaging of all loan documents.
  5. Manages other bank personnel in loan quality control department.
  6. Audits to ensure accuracy of loans booked.
  7. Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
Requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  1. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with officers and other staff members of the Bank.
  2. Has strong knowledge of the Bank's various products, associated forms, and use of those forms.
  3. Good typing skills and knowledge of applicable PC software.
  4. A working knowledge and experience in all areas of loan operations.
  5. Strong, working knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and documentation necessary.
  6. Should be analytically minded and possess good judgment.
