The HSE Advisor is a full-time field-based position, responsible for implementing and managing Paragon’s HSE Program at the project level. The position is responsible for ensuring Paragon follows appliable federal, state and local regulations and works closely with site management as well as Corporate HSE Management for guidance. This position requires extensive travel, working in remote locations and may be subject to inclement weather conditions and difficult terrain based on season and location of projects. This position will travel between ongoing projects, performing the key responsibilities listed below. The HSE Advisor will act as liaison between the crew and the Corporate HSE Department. Key responsibilities of the position include: Enforces HSE Policies and Regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct risk and hazard assessments for each jobsite. Assist with the completion of pre-project documentation. Proactively review and resolve HSE issues raised by employees and communicate as necessary HSE issues, corrective actions, etc. to Corporate HSE Manager for resolution. Audit and inspect Paragon’s HSE practices at regional sites to facilitate compliance with regulatory, client and/or industry requirements. Participate in and contribute to daily safety meetings, job safety analysis, and reporting databases. Conduct site drug and alcohol testing as necessary. Ensure accident investigations are conducted and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions. Ensure injury management protocols are established and adhered to. Perform safety training as needed. Ensure field crews adhere to DOT regulations and journey management practices are adhered to. Complete any and all other tasks assigned by Corporate HSE Management. Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in safety-related position. Valid driver’s license. Knowledge of applicable federal and state OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations. Ability to work a 30-day on / 10-day off rotational schedule, providing flexibility based on project timelines. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office. Competent and comfortable communicator, in all modes and across all levels. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize. Experience with FMCSA and eLog IVMS requirements. High school diploma or equivalent Desirable Qualifications Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
