Software Engineer

What you will do:
- You will be writing code across all tiers of our application using technologies like Angular, Typescript, Javascript, Golang and Snaplogic.
- You will be writing RESTFul APIs in a microservice architecture using Node.js and AWS Lambda.
- You will participate in all the design meetings and stand-ups that you and the team conduct.
- You'll work with embedded product managers and software testers to take a holistic approach to your software development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working on a multi-tiered cloud-based application.
- Demonstrated experience with the following: .Net, Java or Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, SASS, HTML, Angular, Snaplogic, Kafka and Node.js.
- Hands on coding experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases in a distributed system.
- Deep understanding of Agile development best practices such as TDD and continuous delivery.
- Experience or exposure with cybersecurity application development concept.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, facilitate and advocate.
- Love of technology and an eye for applying it to existing and upcoming challenges and opportunities.
- Exposure to the capital markets and investing

The role is available in our Chicago, IL or Oaks, PA location. The team follows a hybrid working schedule with 2-3 days in the office.
