-Repair Dies- Disassemble, Repair, and Assemble Dies. Visually inspects tooling to determine condition and perform general services on tools and dies. Disassembles die, inspects for wear, cracks, breaks or necessary replacement parts. Replaces worn parts with spare parts on hand and/or orders them as necessary. Assembles die and test out in production equipment to assure proper operation of new parts and adjustments.

-Machine Parts- Machine replacement parts from blueprints using Tool Room machines. Makes adjustments in the tools as required, tapping in or punching out edges, sharpening parts as necessary on surface grinders, stones and polishing radius equipment. Makes some die parts if needed.

-Bench Work- Assemble and fit parts; polish parts; read and analyze prints.

-Machine Set-up- Set-up Tool Room Machines to perform all Tool Room operations. Will at times manufacture various machine tool die equipment, utilizing lathes, milling machines, drill presses, etc.
