Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Lead the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards across all activities. Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation standards and methods leveraging expertise in engineering. Establish programs to evaluate analytical testing equipment, precision measurements, and performance testing facilities. Create and deliver training material on quality control activities, ensuring team proficiency. Develop and implement a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards, resulting in certification. Conduct regular audits to maintain manufacturing adherence to the quality management system. Manage root cause analysis programs using methodologies like 8D, 5-why, and fishbone diagrams. Communicate findings and establish preventive action measures in collaboration with customers. Develop Process Flow Maps and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and evaluate potential process failures. Proactively identify and address quality control issues using tools like PFMEA, working closely with the quality supervisor to implement preventive measures. Establish and maintain a robust calibration system, collaborating with Quality personnel. Support the Supplier Quality Engineer in ensuring supplier quality standards are met. Collaborate with the quality control documentation team to update visual work instructions, inspection checklists, and data collection points.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and high-value customers. Hands-on problem-solving approach with a willingness to work directly with the manufacturing labor force. Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for digital process documentation. Experience in implementing or maintaining ISO 9001 documentation. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
