My client, a PE backed portfolio company, in the renewable energy space is looking to hire a Financial Analyst.

As a Development Analyst, you will help support decisions around capital spending, operating budgets, and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

? Collaborate with clients, vendors, employees, and executives to identify strengths and weaknesses of business processes.

? Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data.

? Build and manage financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources.

? Prepare financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting the information.

? Evaluate new projects and investment opportunities by comparing them.

? Value the companys assets by appraising their current condition and useful life.

? Recommend financing structures (debt and equity) and consider the companys cost of capital.

? Build budgets and forecasts of future company performance.

? Build and maintain a corporate financial model that details the entire companys operations and projects future performance.

? Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.

? Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.

? Collaborates well with colleagues using adept social skills.

? Works independently using project management skills.

? Builds strong working relationships and has exceptional leadership skills.

? Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

? A Bachelors degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major or equivalent professional experience is required.

? Must have at least 3 years of financial planning experience.
