In the frame of Research, Innovation, Advanced and Constellation Projects – Architectures & Technologies for OBS, NAV & Aerocom, within the OEN/Domain Observation and Navigation Italy, we are looking for a Navigation Technologies Engineer with these characteristics:

Contribute to the definition of requirements and architectures for Navigation systems applications through cutting-edge technologies. Contribute to the analysis of the field of GNSS / Navigation systems technologies for the development of highly reliable and accurate algorithms and on-board computing, in response to demands for more affordable and reliable space navigation systems. Contribute to the analysis, definition and building up of hardware/software computing solutions aiming at high performance computing for space navigation data. Contribute to in-lab test campaigns planning and execution jointly with other Domains/CCs and external partners. Contribute to the analysis of customer/user needs, focusing on innovative satellite technologies in space navigation systems. Analyse requirements and guidelines from space Agencies (ESA, ASI, EUSPA, etc.) for further strengthening the introduction of navigation technologies in space systems, contributing to technology development roadmaps and space Programmes. Contribute to on-going projects as WP manager or engineering technical manager/study manager. Contribute to identification of new opportunities and support bids. Technical Skills, Qualifications and professional experience required Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent. Bachelor Degree in Electronic, Computer or Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent) would be preferable. Knowledge of navigation systems architectures. Knowledge of applicable standards in the discipline and in the GNSS / Navigation engineering community. Knowledge of system / segment engineering, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) standards. Good computer science engineering background. Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows); Ability to team working and problem solving. Ability to work by objectives.
